Whether you are a brand new parent just exploring
child care options, a parent of a child
who needs after school care, or are looking for a certain type
of child care provider, Community Care for Kids is your single
access point of information. Services are available to families

Family Specialist and:

Child Care Subsidies
Community Care for Kids oversees the waiting list for financial
assistance and manages a variety of child care subsidies for low
income families on the South Shore. Working families who meet
income and service need guidelines; those who are transition
from public assistance to training and education or work or who
are homeless may be eligible for financial
assistance to help them pay for the cost of child care.
Quincy Family Network
The Quincy Family Network (QFN) is a partnership of Quincy
parents and agencies working together to provide educational
programs, playgroups, support services, and information and
referrals for all Quincy families with children ages birth
through four (4) years. Quincy Family Network Programs include:
Parents Page; a monthly newsletter
Parent to Parent Program – newborn home visits, infant and
toddler playgroups
Step One Early Intervention integrated playgroups
Asian American Service Association – outreach programs and
ESOL classes
Neighborhood Center program for parents with children through
age 4
Parent focused programs including single mother’s group
Referrals to social and educational services
Opportunities for parent involvement and leadership.
